Helping pets and people across Shelburne County
Pet Projects is a volunteer-run organization dedicated to reducing pet overpopulation and improving animal welfare — for cats, dogs, and other companion animals.
What began as affordable spay and neuter support has grown into rescue help, community cat colony work, and partnerships that move animals into safer, loving homes.
Everything we do is driven by volunteers who care about animals in our region.

When animals are discovered outdoors or in crisis, volunteers assess the situation and work toward safer outcomes — including mother cats and their litters.

We do not adopt out animals directly. Many pets we help are placed with partner organizations.
